why the ending is good

I think that the ending of the book "Mao's Last Dancer" is a good one because after becoming a famous dancer, Li Cunxin had retired and had a wonderful family that consisted of his wife, Mary, and three children named Sophie,Thomas and Bridie. Eventually, he was allowed to go back to china to his hometown. His family's living conditions had change a lot for the better. their village would be rebuilt and on average each villager would receive two or three newly built properties. they could even rent out their apartments for more income. I feel that this a good ending of the book.
